Megs wedding

One of my very best friends, Megan Green, got married to her boy, Brayden Hatch, on December 16th 2010. It was such a fun day. It was great to see Megan so happy and have the ending she wanted after she patiently waited for Brayden to come home from his mission. It truly couldn't have been better...it was such a perfect day... Now, before I continue on with talking about Megs and her wedding, I just want to take a minute to talk about how we became such good friends...Me and Megs went to high school together but she is a year younger than I am. I knew who Megan was because one of my other best friends is her cousin, Heather Green. Heather talked about Megan all the time so I knew they were really close. The first time I actually saw Megan, I immediately thought..."oh she is really cute, but she kind of seems like a brat." I know...I was a judger. So all through high school I had a bad impression of Megan for really no aparent reason. In college I lived with Stephanie Hintze and Heather Green. Heather would talk to Megan all the time. One night Heather was trying to convience Megan that she should leave USU and come to Provo and live with us. At first I wasn't sure about it...but that soon changed. The next year Megan moved to Provo. I don't really know how it happened but we instantly became friends. We were always together. We stayed roommates the next year and had a blast! I am so glad that Megan decided to come to Provo. I would've never thought that we would become such good friends. We went through a lot together during those two years including the ups and downs of having a missionary. I got to see Megan patiently wait for Brayden as he was serving in the Dominican Republic. Their were many tears shed and lots of sleepless nights as we would talk about the frustrations of dating, and Megan wondering what would happen when Brayden got home. Their were a lot of questions asked with no answers...the only thing Megan could do was wait. When the day finally came that Brayden returned home...all of those questions that Megan had been asking for two years were answered. She got the ending that she was hoping for. Two years of waiting paid off... I couldn't be happier for Megan. She truly has blessed my life in so many ways. I know the Lord puts people in our lives for a reason. I feel so blessed to have such amazing friends. Congrats Megs and Brayden!! Love you!
